This training qualifies for LGBTQ CEU's and is intended for clinicians who want to provide therapy to transgender and gender variant individuals. It will provide guidance on ways to better address the needs of transgender clients in a trauma informed manner.  

Workshop objectives:

By the conclusion of the workshop, attendees should be able to:

  • Use gender affirming language.
  • Feel comfortable supporting trans-identified clients through the social and medical components of transition and across the lifespan.
A light lunch will be provided by Ingleside at Rock Creek at 11:30 am.  The event runs from 10 am-1:30pm.
