The importance of intuitively derived information is being increasingly researched and written about in the clinical literature. This workshop will build on the current research and will use case studies from both clinicians’ and patients’ experiences to demonstrate how it works. Though clinicians use it regularly, the lack of conscious effort and awareness of the intuitive process has proven to be an obstacle to its inclusion in academic training.
This course will review the literature and demonstrate how intuition is interwoven in effective clinical practice. The content and process of the workshop is appropriate for all levels of practice.
